User Story: A night in the old Mansfield Reformatory
On July 14, I, along with 2 of my buddies signed up to stay the night in the old Mansfield Reformatory which is the filming location of the Shawshank Redemption. They did an episode of Ghost Adventures and Scariest Places on Earth in this location. We had full access to the prison from 8pm-6am. Just before the night began for us, I downloaded the Ghost Radar Classic app on my phone and my friends did the same. While taking our introduction tour, our tour guy told us that before the facility was a prison, it was a training facility for soldiers for the Civil War. After the tour is when we had free roaming access. We walked around for awhile and had Ghost Radar on for most of it and we were getting just very random words that really made no sense for where we were so the apps credibility as a paranormal reader was quickly dying. Well we walked in and sat down in a room called the “Chair room”. So I turned the app on and sat in my chair and we started asking questions. Within a few minutes, the words “Lincoln, Union, Battle, Mark, and South” came up from the app. Those words, in a Civil war training facility, are just too coincidental to make be believe anything less than there was a ghost present. I now have a story I can tell for the rest of my life with an experience with this app.
